KOMUNALAC a.d. is a joint stock company organized in accordance with the Law on Public Enterprises, the Law on Business Companies and other legal regulations. In 2011, the capital was transferred from the Republic to the company.
KOMUNALAC a.d. Derventa has a long tradition based on the performance of activities of general social and economic importance, primarily water supply, maintaining the cleanliness of the city, depositing garbage, running markets, markets and more.The performance of these tasks also requires special features, such as: regularity of performing communal services, regardless of weather and other conditions, promptness in case of breakdowns, downtime or breakdowns, expertise and experience in work, adherence to project, program and planning solutions, with possible adaptation to needs and realistic sources of financing.
The utility company employs 102 workers and in 2017 achieved sales revenue in the amount of 2.9 million KM.
Each of the communal activities is subject to sensitive and more influential factors, natural and technical conditions, strict legal regulations, objective and subjective criticisms from service users (water delivery, in terms of dynamics and quality, maintaining the cleanliness of the city, operation of markets and others)
