The final joint workshop of the development teams of the municipalities of Derventa, Prnjavor and Laktaši, which is realized as part of the implementation of the LocalInterAct network project, was held on July 10, 2018. in Laktaši. The members of the project teams were presented with analyzes of the state of the economy for 2015, 2016 and 2017, after which representatives of the municipalities made a descriptive overview of the state of the local economy and trends in it for 2017. It was agreed that the development teams, in cooperation with the consultant, would finalize the reports by mid-July 2018.
In this way, the cycle of activities related to quantitative research and analysis would be completed, and representatives of municipalities would be trained in the application of new tools and techniques in the preparation of analyzes of the state and trends in the economy of local communities.
The “LocalInterAct network” project is co-financed by the European Union within the framework of the joint program of the European Union and the Government of Germany for local self-government and economic development, EU ProLocal, which is implemented by GIZ. The project contributes to improving the competitiveness of export-oriented sectors and companies, along with improved competitiveness of locations.The budget of the project is 210,814 KM, which is co-financed by the European Union in the amount of 168,651 KM.
