As part of the project “Partnership for the sustainable transfer of knowledge of local economic development”, which is carried out in the area of the municipalities of Gradiška and Derventa, and whose goal is the development of infrastructure to strengthen the competencies of the workforce aimed at the growth and development of the metal sector, training for 10 trainees each to work on CNC machines and for welding will begin next week.
In addition to the municipality of Derventa, the project partners are the municipality of Gradiška, the Public Institution “Vocational and Technical School” of Derventa, the Public Institution “Technical School” in Gradiška, “Sim-prom” LLC, “Tikt manufaktura” LLC and the University of Banja Luka. At the end of last year, the project was approved and financed by the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) and the European Union, writes Derventa Cafe.
As part of this project, the professional and technical school in Derventa last June received 3 CNC trainers, which will be used to simulate the operation of CNC machines. Also, due to the constant growth of the economy’s needs for this type of personnel, this year the department of CNC machine technicians was enrolled.The trainings will be held in the Public Institution “Technical School” in Gradiška, which is fully equipped for conducting these types of trainings, as CNC trainers were acquired through the project.
The training will be conducted by professors of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering from Banja Luka, and the expected duration of the training is 100 hours.
