As part of the LocalInterAct network project, in the period from 18-20. In June 2018, a study visit was organized to selected organizations and support institutions in Croatia, Slovenia and Austria. Representatives of the municipalities of Prnjavor, Laktaši and Derventa had the opportunity to learn about the organization of work, good practices and different types of support that these organizations and institutions provide to businesses.
The study visit included a visit to the City Administration of Graz (Department of Economy and Tourism) and the ACstyria Mobilitätscluster from Graz, the Maribor Development Agency and the Technology Park in Varaždin.The members of the development teams had the opportunity to exchange opinions and ask questions to the representatives of the mentioned institutions and organizations about the activities they carry out in order to improve the economic environment and ensure the constant development of the company. The representatives of the municipalities were satisfied with the organized study visit, and the information and experience gained will be used in the further work of the municipal administrations.
The “LocalInterAct network” project is co-financed by the European Union within the framework of the joint program of the European Union and the Government of Germany for local self-government and economic development, EU ProLocal, which is implemented by GIZ.The project contributes to improving the competitiveness of export-oriented sectors and companies, along with improved competitiveness of locations.
